When this YouTube video of Harriet Christian was making its way through the internets, her angry rant about the Democratic party throwing it all away for an inadequate black male who wouldn’t have been running if it wasn’t a WHITE WOMAN, something clicked in me.

MAYELLA EWELL FROM TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD!!!!

This after Hillary’s Appalachian support, this cry for the lily livered white men to save the white woman from the black man, YIKES.

Here are two clips: the first is Harriet from Manhatten, the second is the scene with Mayella in the courtroom after it is obvious that Tom the black defendant could not have raped her.

If you watch him in the last shots, he looks like he is trying to walk and stand like Bush. He doesn’t know what to do with his hands. His smile is forced and creepy.

Me, I see a great human being and a wonderful next president, but living in white skin it can be easy to forget how much of the world does not live in white skin. They pay a price every day for something they have no control over. I am so happy for every person, of any and every color, across the globe who is able to share our joy over Barack Obama and the hope he represents.

I moved the convention post to a page (links on left). I was not happy having all those big pictures load on the front page. I will finish up the posting about the convention and process the photos later… maybe. After I unpack make phone calls clean the house ready my house for a party, etc.
